Mayor Gavin Newsom today officially welcomed Spanish renewable energy
company GA-Solar to San Francisco, further establishing San Francisco’s
reputation as a global hub for clean technology companies. The Spanish
firm has established its U.S. Corporate Headquarters in San Francisco
and currently employs 7 in downtown San Francisco, with high goals for
growth in the city. GA-Solar recently announced that they will be
building a $1 billion photovoltaic solar project in Guadalupe County,
